ABOUT MEHello! I’m Tanya. I am a pharmacist, health/beauty writer and medical reviewer. I am enthusiastic about combining my pharmacy background, content creation and experience in social media marketing to enhance patient care and the reader’s experience. My writing has appeared in Well+Good, Byrdie, Doré, The Zoe Report, and Passerby.
My Story -
After graduating from Rutgers University with a PharmD, I worked in retail pharmacy. From there, I completed a fellowship in medical information at Janssen Pharmaceuticals and earned a teaching certificate from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. I enjoyed working in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs for seven years, developing and reviewing medical content for both consumers and healthcare professionals and interacting with key opinion leaders. During this time, I also pursued a creative project with my lifestyle blog, Little Blank Diaries, writing about fashion, skincare and travel.
On nights and weekends, I taught myself newsletter strategy, affiliate marketing, SEO, and social media. Combining my healthcare and content creation backgrounds, I now focus on editorial work. You can find me running my blog, Little Blank Diaries, and writing across digital platforms about travel, skincare, medicine, books, motherhood, and personal style.
